Born Again
What a confusing concept, being born again. It is a hard pill for most to swallow, or at bare minimum a concept that is too complex for the brain to process without anything to relate it to. That is why the analogy of the butterfly is so helpful. Everyone pretty much knows what a butterfly goes through to get its wings. We are no different.
Real miracles took place while insulating. What transpired while inside of that chrysalis only you and God know. The experience of faith, trust, and surrender crafted a relationship of true intimacy between you and God. What choice did you have, but to let go and let God get to work on you. You had to trust that He has crafted countless masterpieces, why would you be any different?
The butterfly did not enter the chrysalis as a butterfly. It went in as a caterpillar. Trusting that when it came out it would be a new creation. The same happens with us in our awakening. We didn’t enter into this metamorphosis believing that we would come out the same as we were before we went in. There was obviously some things that we knew had to change, if we wanted to experience real growth in our life. God promised us that we would be a new creation and it would be worth it. We believed it, God made it happen.
We are finally at the end of the transformation of the butterfly. The butterfly is ready to emerge. Ready to push its way out and stretch its wings. In this delicate phase the butterfly must use all of its strength to push out of its former home. Unlike when it was hatched from the egg the caterpillar doesn’t consume its former home it uses the endurance that it cultivated from pushing and pushing through the chrysalis to strengthen it for the impending flight it must take once it has freed itself.
Stage six in the world of spiritual awakening is referred to as Spiritual Rebirth, the stage of transcendence, a resurrection. Here we rise to a new level of consciousness. Often referred to as ascension. Using the strength and faith that we acquired while pressing through our own trials, we begin to push our way out. As we emerge we are empowered, we now have the spirit of God, to aide us in the entering into the unknown. We will be soaring into new heights instead of slowly crawling, attempting not to be eaten by a faster predator, stepped on, or looked over. You are everything that God promised you would be.
A MASTERPIECE.
We are indeed born again. What lies ahead for you as you journey through life, is a co-creation between you and God. It is now time to set out and do the work that you were divinely designed to carry out. The excitement is real. The intensity is palpable. The blessing is that you are equipped for what is coming next.
How will you honor being a masterpiece?
